Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry Grand Re-Opening & Exciting News!

April 12, 2021 by Mucklows

We are thrilled to let our valued clients and community know our entire showroom is now fully open with regular business hours. Our talented team is energized to continue to provide the top-notch, full-service you have come to expect for the last 25 years at Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry. Kristin, Heidi, Kaylee, Haley, and Lisa are ready to guide you through the selection process and show you our newest arrivals! Archie, our longstanding jeweler, continues his dedication to restore and create your beloved jewelry with the care and attention to detail you rely on.

The last year has been a wild ride of unknowns and untraditional business operations. Through it all, love remained essential and we are so grateful that you continued to trust us over and over for the perfect gifts to show your love, or to repair cherished sentimental heirlooms.  We know this year challenged everyone in our community and we are thankful to be in this with you.

Our commitment has not changed, we look forward to relaunching our community outreach, which is one of our favorite ways to connect with and serve our community.

Exciting Announcement!

After 35 years dedicated to the artistry and craftsmanship of jewelry making and 25 years serving his community and bringing beautiful jewelry and American crafts to Fayette, Coweta, and the surrounding counties, Robert Mucklow decided it was time to retire. He is now dedicated to enjoying time with his grandchildren and family and traveling with his wife. Robert never imagined his one-time hobby would bring him so much happiness and success, and he feels so fortunate to have made a living doing what he loved.

For Robert, the Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry team and loyal clients are family, and leaving that family in the best possible hands was a vital step toward retirement. That is why he personally picked David Murray to become the new owner of Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry and carry on its legacy.

David Murray

For over 14 years, while David Murray served as the watchmaker for Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry, he and Robert enjoyed a working relationship with mutual respect for one another’s excellent craftsmanship, work ethic, and values for treating all team members and clients like family. David also owns King’s Watch & Jewelry repair, where over the years his passion for jewelry making grew into a dream to own a jewelry store. Through Divine orchestration, David’s dream came true. (Hear more about that story here.)  At the beginning of March 2021, Robert Mucklow passed the baton of ownership of Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry to David Murray.

The Mucklow family is very thankful for the talented people that continue to make Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry the wonderful place it is. From the beginning, Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry was Robert’s labor of love. He created a vibrant history steeped in innovative, captivating jewelry design, serving the community and showcasing artists and jewelry makers.

Everything the community has grown to love about Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry continues on, including the steadfast team who are an integral part of what makes Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry special. All the team members continue on in their dedication and Jessica Rossomme remains the Director of Operations overseeing a seamless transition.

Clients of King’s Watch Repair will be happy to know King’s isn’t going anywhere and they will continue to receive the expert attention and service they rely on at King’s Watch Repair in Fayetteville.

We will continue to enhance our connections in the community, our belief in family, traditions, authenticity, relationships, excellent service, and craftsmanship.  David passionately stewards and builds upon the Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry legacy of authentic, genuine service and providing jewelry that celebrates life’s most special moments, without harming our blue planet.

What is required is the desire to learn about gorgeous gems and handcrafted jewelry, plus the honest desire to guide our incredible clients through their jewelry purchase decisions.

The Company

Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry has been faithfully serving our hometown of Peachtree City and the surrounding communities for over 20 years.  In recognition of our ongoing commitment we were named one of “America’s Coolest Stores”, a prestigious nationwide award, just last month.
