One of Mucklows Fine Jewelry’s very own graduate gemologists, Kristin Owens, loves gems and creating jewelry so much that even during her weekends she continues to let her creative energy flow.
Kristin recently launched “Spirited Rocks” in 2016 to combine her heartfelt love of gems with her uncanny eye for expressionistic, wearable fashion jewelry.
“Spirited Rocks” combines unique, personally selected geodes, with vibrant beading and soft soothing metals.
Those who are ardent collectors of Kristin’s geode slice jewelry often speak of how her “nature’s wearable art” serves as an inspirational token during stressful times. With their unique coloring, these handcrafted designs also make an eye-catching addition to any ensemble.
The gems hand-selected for my jewelry collection speak of an inner balance and pure unrestrained beauty which can only be found in nature – Kristin Owens, Spirited Rocks Designer
Geodes “As Wearable Art” From Deep In The Earth
For those not familiar with this natural form of treasure from below the Earth, the term geode is derived from the Greek word Geoides which means “Earthlike.”
No gemstone is more creatively striped and layered than the agate slices Kristin personally selects from North Georgia, Florida, Colorado, and Arizona.
Once cut, the banded beauty of colors and patterns of the agate reveal shimmering druzy crystals that tell the tale of its unrelenting journey from deep in the Earth through ancient volcanoes.
Kristin’s geode pendant collection was inspired by the subtle individuality of each gem and how it harmonizes with the other lustrous beads and natural gemstones.
Each geode pendant is an individual expression of wearable art given from the soul of nature itself to you.
The “Spirited Rocks” jewelry collection is truly a feast for the eyes and a soothing harmony for your inner spirit.
